Tenovate is available in market in different forms such as cream, ointment, emollient cream, and gel. All these forms are used to treat various skin conditions.

  • Tenovate is for external use. The cream is intended to be applied on the affected skin area as a topical treatment. However, it is noticed that sometimes the topical medication is absorbed into the bloodstream through skin tissues and this may cause unwanted side effects in other parts of body. Tenovate is also reported with this kind of incidences which may lead to causing serious issues related to vital parts of the body such as glands and hormones.   • Generally, adults and children above 12 years of age are advised to apply thin layer of cream on the affected area twice a day maintain a gap of 8 to 12 hours.
  • Treatment should not be used continuously for more than 2 weeks in a row.
