Ovral L is a combination of norgestrel and ethinyl estradiol which is used as a method of oral contraception. Ethinyl estradiol and norgestrel are the female hormones that are very beneficial for the prevention of accidental pregnancy or unplanned pregnancy. Females should take the pills of this oral contraceptive after an unprotected vaginal intercourse. They work by changing the cervical mucus and uterine lining.
